In this post, she talks about her passion for blogging and explains how it all started…

“I looked at the EDUMAG portal almost every day for hours! If there was a way I could somehow create an opportunity for myself, I thought it was hidden in EDUMAG blogs.”
How it started...
“In late 2016, I decided to enter a competition that was organised by EDUMAG. The competition was created for all bloggers who were writing posts and creating content for Edumag.net.
I knew that winning the prize would make my dreams come true and allow me take the first steps towards achieving my goals.
The challenge of the competition was to create content about an experience during education or travels abroad. After waiting impatiently for what seemed to be the longest couple of months of my life, I was extremely happy to learn that I was the winner of one of the main prizes – four weeks of “Intensive English Course” in America! With EDUMAG, I discovered new things and I did not want to stop writing!”

Why write for EDUMAG?
“I think sharing experiences with others is the best part of blogging. It makes me very happy to connect with other people and provide them with some interesting and useful information. Somehow, somewhere, someone imagines exactly what you’re dreaming of, and when you realise your dream, the traces you leave behind inspire others. With this passion, I continued to write articles on EDUMAG. EDUMAG was now part of me! After a while, I realised that the articles I wrote were doing very well, getting a good number of views. Before readers found my article, they would explore the EDUMAG portal which already had many talented writers who created such beautiful content.
I was so happy that I was able to take part in such a vast and fun project as it made me feel motivated. EDUMAG has helped me to kick-start the career I wanted to pursue.”

“Leeds English Language School opened its arms to me, perhaps the most sincere, sweetest and loveliest language school in England.”
Leeds English Language School was part of the adventure
“Following the success of my previous articles, I felt a desire to open the doors to a new world and Leeds English Language School was the next part of my journey! The international blogging at EDUMAG, combined with my successful writing created a new opportunity to join a UK language school. They were opening their doors to give me the scholarship to learn English in the UK – I got it! Now it was my job to create new memories in this language school with EDUMAG. I had an adventure ahead of me.”
“I have to say with all sincerity, that I had never been abroad before and all I wanted was to explore the world beyond the land I grew up in.”

The cycle of ‘Explore, Experience and Share’
Leeds English Language School organised a trip to the city of York during my time at the school. This is only one of the many activities and trips that the Leeds English Language School organises for the students. I found these activities are a must do/go, especially when you’re able to interact and socialise with all the teachers and the staff from the school. They take a part in every activity they organise – not just to make sure they can look after the students, but they actually make it a fun day for everyone.
After my time in the USA, I was really excited and looking forward to studying at Leeds English Language School. I knew that I still had a lot to Explore, Experience and Share in this world through my travels. Although deep down I have always wanted to become a blogger, I never knew how it would feel to become one, let alone receive scholarships from some of the best language schools around the world to take my English to the next level. Most importantly, it helped me to see the world from a completely different perspective, a better way.
There’s a whole wide world out there… a lot of unknowns, what-ifs, and buts… but it wasn’t until I started to Explore, Experience and Share that I learned to step out of my comfort zone and realise that you can still feel at home, away from home. You don’t have to feel homesick or lonely when you create great friendships with new people from different cultures all around the world.
You will never know the end of a journey before you start it.”

“A short little train journey home from Leeds English Language School. I took this picture when I was writing a blog about a day in at L.E.L.S.”
Realise your own journey
“I sometimes can’t help but ask myself this question; if I was able to take time back if I was able to go back beginning where would have I started again? I would have started from exactly where I had in the beginning. I can tell you all with a hundred percent confidence that I wouldn’t have changed anything! I was never sure about where to start from but I’m glad I had started somehow.”
Lastly,
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank firstly my family who supported me all the way and everyone in EDUMAG and L.E.L.S. family with special thanks to Nuri at EDUMAG being ever so helpful with my demanding requests and Ellie at L.E.L.S. for always being supportive and patient with me.
Now, I guess this needs to have an end to it, at some point huh..?
I am ever so grateful to those who helped me to achieve my goals and I hope the way I share my experiences can inspire other people to kickstart their own journey.”
