Located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales on the banks of the River Wharfe, Bolton Abbey is Yorkshire’s best day out! Its landscape is the “jewel in the crown” of Yorkshire! There are 30,000 acres of beautiful countryside with over 80 miles of footpaths to explore. We will enjoy a 4-mile walk around the Abbey. Bring your walking boots and some lunch.Find out more
We are going to England's capital city! There is so much to see in London. We will visit London's Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, The British Museum, Greenwich... and more! Read the full itinerary in school. Transport information: We depart Leeds Train Station at 3.15pm, arriving at London Kings Cross at 5.33pm. On Saturday, we arrive back in Leeds at 10.21pm. The museum is one of three in the United Kingdom displaying the National collection of historic Weapons and Armour from around the world. Once in the museum, there are four floors of exhibitions and live displays. Entrance to the museum is free. Bring a packed lunch!Find out more
The festival takes place on the picturesque grounds of Kirkstall Abbey.
