Bus services

Most students use buses to travel to school from all around the city.

Monthly bus tickets are relatively cheap (approximately £44 per month). These are available from the bus station. To buy a student ticket, you will need to show a letter from the school to prove that you are a student. You can ask for this letter at the school’s reception desk.

Day tickets you can buy an unlimited ticket for one day (called a “Dayrider”) from the driver on the bus for approximately £4. These are available for everybody and at any time. Please be prepared to pay in cash with the correct amount of money – bus drivers do not accept £50 notes.
